Fit for the future

Innovative, efficient, sustainable

Challenges in modern transport and vehicle logistics

Transport and vehicle logistics is operating in a dynamic environment characterised by internationalisation, liberalisation and globalisation. At the same time, the framework conditions for freight transport are being increasingly harmonised at EU level, which presents companies with new challenges. Rising competitive and cost pressures, particularly due to the latest developments in fuel prices and increased maintenance and servicing costs, require innovative solutions.

In addition to these economic factors, customer expectations regarding the reliability, speed and flexibility of service providers are also growing. Customers are increasingly demanding precise tracking options and customised solutions. At the same time, new potential is constantly opening up in the technological field that must be utilised.

Seizing opportunities with financial support from the European Union

Technological change offers freight forwarders the opportunity to organise internal processes faster, more efficiently and more sustainably in order to remain competitive and provide customers with the best possible service. Braase is also following this path and is utilising subsidies from the European ERDF fund to overcome these challenges.

The implementation of a highly innovative telematics system has streamlined, optimised and automated internal company processes. The digitalisation of previously paper-based processes not only speeds up processes, but also protects the environment. These new systems are customer-centred: Where there used to be media disruptions, interfaces now ensure that information is provided across companies, making qualified information available to our customers.

Telematics has also improved communication between dispatchers and drivers. The integrated translation function makes it possible to automatically translate messages into the desired language. A dispatcher can enter his message in German and the driver can display the text in his preferred language at the click of a button.

These measures form the basis for further optimisations and make us fit for the future. They enable us to continue to operate innovatively, efficiently and sustainably and to respond flexibly to the constantly changing requirements of the market.
